CWF Disturbance 5 kicked off as ring announcer Purvis Beckem introduced former CWF general manager Pete Botts to the sell-out crowd in Dayton, Tennessee. Botts then introduced the new CWF general manager, Jay West. West announced that the vacant CWF championship would be on the line in a one night tournament, then shifted his attention to his 15-year relationship with Casey Kage. Kage cut the new GM off mid-sentence and swore that he would never align himself with the likes of West again. West, infuriated, informed Kage that he had drawn the first match in the tournament, and that due to an overflow of talent backstage, it would be a handicap match. CWF

The Tournament To Decide The New CWF Champion
Kage and Rokk engaged in a classic wrestling match. However, things took a turn for the worst when Casey Kage was unable to pin Johnny Rokk after numerous attempts. Johnny Rokk took the upper hand, and set Kage up for the super kick. Then, Rusty Rogers came to the ring led by CWF GM Jay West. Rogers delivered a blow to Rokk, who fell to the mat. Rogers and West seeming to be measuring Kage when Rokk delivered a blow to Rogers. Rokk then diverted his attention to the new general manager, who pointed Rokk to turn around. When Rokk turned around, Casey Kage nailed him with the CWF belt, and covered him for the victory. Winner and NEW CWF Champion: Casey Kage |
